6 Reasons You're Still Sick

Here's six reasons you're still sick, still struggling with symptoms - plus how to change that story. Spoiler: it's not because you can't heal, or because you need more supplements...we're going back to the basics.

1. Your needs aren’t being met

The foundation of your health is build on your daily needs being met. Long before you start employing therapies and healers and products, you need to address core needs being met. This begins in the four bodies (spiritual, mental, emotional, physical) and their individual needs.

Are you giving more time to certain bodies than others? What are your core needs? How do you feel safe and supported each day?

2. You’re suppressing symptoms

Your body strives to express symptoms. Suppression might support your survival but it won’t heal you. The more you suppress = the more the body tries to express = the more you experience symptoms. At the end of the day, your body just wants that stuff up and out and it’s up to you to support that (when safe!)

Where are you blocking the natural expression of symptoms? Is it safe to express them instead? If it’s not safe to express, what needs to change in your life so that it is?

3. You’re treating the wrong thing

When you attack surface level symptoms, you get surface level results. You can treat physical symptoms till the cows come home, but if you ignore the beliefs, the emotions, the mindsets, and the core unconscious programming, the imbalance sustaining your symptoms will persist. The Mind Body Connection is the key to going deeper, your symptoms are just messengers.

4. Your community sucks

Maybe a little harsh – but really, how are your communities? Friends, family, work? If the communities you interact with on a regular basis are unsupportive, toxic, unsafe, or simply don’t nourish you, your body will protect and inform you via symptoms. As long as you are engaging in an unhealthy community, your body will need to protect you and symptoms will persist.

How do you feel before, during and after you interact with your community?

5. You’re looking for a saviour

Practitioners are there to support you, not save you. They are catalysts to healing, they provide a jump start. But you’re the engine and healing happens between appointments. If you are giving all your healing power away to someone else, you’re missing out on the greatest healing of all time. Your practitioners should be great supports and teachers but it’s your job to heal through meeting your needs, expressing symptoms, listening to your body and nurturing community.

What is your job in healing (truly)? What is your practitioners job?

6. You don’t know what you want

If you spend all day telling yourself not to think about purple elephants, you'll spend an entire day thinking about purple elephants. Same goes for healing. If you’re always thinking about how sick you are and how you don’t want to be sick anymore, where are you going to go? When you are deeply connected to your future, healed self, you open the door to possibility. You need a blueprint to healing.

How do you want to feel?

Your body is telling you exactly what it needs to heal and you're ready to learn its language.

Healing doesn't have to be rocket science. There's no magic pill or secret sauce. In fact, your body is already telling you exactly what you need, right this moment. Once you learn to tune in and truly listen to the symptoms of your body, your health will transform.

Are you ready to feel better?
